Bill Simmons

A graduate of the University ofMississippi with a degree in psychology and political science, Simmons began his career in social services. In the late 1970’s, he turned his attention to the music business when he met Paul Davis and moved to Atlanta to work at Bang Records.

A graduate of the University of Mississippi with a degree in psychology and political science, Simmons began his career in social services. In the late 1970’s, he turned his attention to the music business when he met Paul Davis and moved to Atlanta to work at Bang Records. This led into artist management where Simmons became a partner at The Fitzgerald Hartley Co.  For the past 20+years, he has managed the careers of Brad Paisley, Chris Young, Kellie Pickler, Jerrod Niemann, Restless Heart, Brett James, The Kinleys, and others.  In 2019, Simmons opened The AMG bringing along current clients Paisley and Young. He currently serves on many boards including Country Music Association, CountryMusic Hall of Fame and Museum, and the Grammy Museum Mississippi.
